Design

Our steel prefabricated components are designed and manufactured in accordance with the respective codes, standards, compliance and dimension requirements in our manufacturing plant and shipped directly to the construction site.  

Slags are recommended to be 100 mm or 75 mm: floating slab, depending on soil texture.

Lightweight steel frames don’t have a load mass compared to mortar structures.

An apron may be allowed depending on individual needs.

Floor panels are included. Alternate flooring solutions are personal options.

Assembly

One of the main advantages of Abitat’s101 light steel framing systems is its versatility and the range of building types for which it can be used. The below focuses on a smaller, easy-to-assemble steel unit primarily for mass dwellings, but also available to developers and DIY home builders.

1. Floor

2. Install and secure first wall panel​

3. Install and secure second wall panel​

4. Install and secure remaining panels to create wall structure​

5. All panels secured

6. Roof panel to be placed and secured above square structure

7. Structure before doors, windows and cladding finishes

8. Secure door and window, and add choice of cladding
